Are African Americans "Regressing"?

While searching for a subject on the net. I came across the image above. It shows over twenty juvenile delinquents cramped into a jail house room. The article mentions the young men being forced into a life a crime, due to living in poverty. Yet, there is no mention of the horrid jail house conditions, which reminds me so much of the images I grew up seeing. *The images in text books of black people (Africans) being stuffed into slave ships like sardines.

Now my mind starts to conjure up a conversation I had earlier today. It was with a man that tried to convince me that black people are making progress, and will continue on this path. Though I believe black people (African Americans) are not living in the same conditions as the ancestors did four hundred years ago, I don't believe they have made much progress or will continue to. 

In fact, I mentioned they seem to be regressing. We can start with the word nigger. We know that it is considered the norm to use this word loosely. There will be no backlash. It is the new cool word. Even respectable Caucasians can say it, and not find themselves missing a few teeth. It has become an American 'hip' word. So, how did the black man go from being called nigger in a disrespectful way, to be called nigger today, in respectful way? Yea. Some bone heads will use Africa (Niger) and then some to justify their ass-backwards-ness. But we know it was not about Egypt nor Africa when the white man used it on black men back in the day. It had more to do with the Mexican description of they people. *Black* as in black like an object. Nothing more or less. The Caucasian used it to show disrespect. 2014 The black man will use it today and thousand of dead niggers later, to show "Love" towards one another. REGRESS!

Though black people have been treated bad by the Caucasian for four hundred plus years. In the year of 2014. The Negro gal and boy argue over white people, Idolize them, and even suggest they are better for them. Pay attention to that. Black women and men now see white people as more superior than the opposite sex of their own kind. They protect Caucasians like they use to during slavery. Um, does that not sound like the slaves that refused to leave the plantation, or told on each other if one decided to escape? They refused to believe what was happening to them was bad or wrong. They trusted the white slave owner more than they trusted the follow black man or woman. REGRESS.

A lot of people complained about the AMA showcasing Caucasians taking on what was once considered black people styles. While black people were sidelined from receiving any honors outside of a few head nods. I argued this point my damn self. But then I realized, most black artist are jumping on the Caucasians tip, going rock, skater, country music, and then some. Rhiana  lost her Caribbean flava fresh outta the gate. Aloe Blacc "Wake me Up" was so confusing he had to throw some Mexicans in the video for it to all make sense. Don't get me wrong. I love me some Aloe Blacc, but damn, I thought he was a country singer when I first heard that song. But after listening, I heard some Bill Withers. Wiping my forehead. But still, "Wake me up" has the cross over appeal.  Jason Derulo, chile puhleeze!  That's the whitest black boy I've ever heard on the radio. REGRESS.

Remember how the Caucasian use to walk up in black people house taking their kids. Days later they would find their beloved drowned or swinging from a tree. Well, it looks like the same bs is happening all over again. Cops are lynching black people left to right, and not a damn thing black people can do about it, besides hold a sign begging for mercy.  Not even with a half black president in office does anything get done. Same shit people! Regress!

Black women and men aren't allowed to date or marry. Though it's not illegal. The media is aiding a divide between the two parties. So much so, we have black women calling bm unable to repair. Damaged Beyond Repair. Black men call black women the worse women on the planet, and they wish we die. Okaaay.....Regress! I think it's fair to say. This is the same shit that got our black asses shipped and delivered in the first place. We never keep up with the evil doers or stay ahead of them. Instead we keep praying to their white god with a Mexican name. Same bs our ancestors did. In the end, who took the pen to the paper to free them Negroes? It wasn't Jesus, the black man or woman. 

There are many other signs of regressing. But I will stop my blog here. It starts with a population of eyes wide open black folks to stop this madness. Look around, black people are vanishing or going by a new name.
